ALL PURPOSE RING SNAFFLE BIT by Weaver Leather.
This loose ring snaffle bit has a 12,7 cm (5") sweet iron slightly curved mouthpiece and 7,62 cm (3") rings.
Sweet iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more which in turn encourages better acceptance of the bit.
A beginning of this oxidation process may already be visible when purchasing a new bit.
