Cavalor ArtiTec is formulated so that the herbs have a synergistic effect, nipping negative processes in the locomotor system in the bud before they can cause damage. In a pilot study Cavalor ArtiTec was well absorbed by 97% of horses and 74% of horses showed visibly improved movement.

It's all in the mix - a complex blend of botanical ingredients. The Cavalor Arti range consists of a specialized blend of herbs and essential oils including Ananasus comosus, Curcuma longa, Boswellia serrata, Equisetum arvensis, Echinacea purpurea and Citrus aurantifolia.

A joint is the hinge point between 2 bones. Between them is a layer of viscous synovial fluid (synovia) that lubricates and protects the cartilage at the end of the bone. The muscles, tendons and ligaments around the joint absorb shock and hold it nicely in place. If your horse is exercising intensively, those joints get hit hard by the friction of the bones because the quality of the synovial fluid decreases.

Overuse, age, injuries and infections cause inflammation. If your horse has multiple inflammations in succession, the synovial fluid changes its composition, becomes thinner and loses its power to cushion shock. The hinged movement of the joints then becomes less and less smooth. Thus, the risk of serious injury increases.

Over time, joint problems get worse. Large shocks damage the cartilage beyond repair. The damage then moves to other parts, such as the muscles and ligaments.Over time, this can result in lameness.

What supplement should I best feed to my horse?
