Tom Balding Advantage Malibu

This beautifully crafted Advantage bit features a 3/8" tube shank. The mouthpiece is the Tom Balding Malibu© measuring 13 cm wide (5 1/8 inch). 

The Advantages line is designed with a heavier 3/8" satin finish stainless material and available in both a 8 1/4" long shank and a 7" short shank. 

Sweet iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more which in turn encourages better acceptance of the bit. The rusting process (oxidation) changes the colour of the bit to a brownish-grey.

A beginning of this desired oxidation process may already be visible when purchasing a new bit.
