Tom Balding TEST Baseline Correction, Medium Shank

This beautifully crafted test bit features a Medium S© shank in a satin finish. The mouthpiece is the Correction©. This shank measures 7 3/4".

Sweet iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more which in turn encourages better acceptance of the bit. The rusting process (oxidation) changes the colour of the bit to a brownish-grey.

A beginning of this desired oxidation process may already be visible when purchasing a new bit.
